Ever wonder the differences between an IPA and a Bock? What the heck a Cask is? Beer Tasting Bootcamp focuses on a very broad background of the four main beer ingredients in beer (hops, barley, water and yeast), followed by a more detailed discussion of how beer is evaluated for each category, with definitions of all of the markers involved for judgment (SRM, ABV, Aroma, Appearance, Flavor, Mouthfeel, Overall Impression, Comments, History, and Ingredients) This class would include 6, 2oz samples and rotate in themes, so you can continue to broaden your beer knowledge and know what you're really drinking as you explore PA's amazing craft brews or just come off like a pro on the epic monumental event that is BEER WEEK! (wait that's not every week?) After all, our motto is drink beer make stuff, our Owner builds taprooms for Breweries and well, we just love to celebrate beer & beer knowledge. (Stouts and Porters on 4/24 and East Coast vs West Coast on May 29).
